Always enjoy fishing Twin Oaks.  It’s pretty reliable, and for some reason the water always seems to stay up even when it’s dry weather.  We fished from 6:30am to 9:30am.  Of the 8 fish I caught, only one wasn’t a cull.  My son made up for it, catching 10 fish, of which only 2 were culls.  All the rest were nice fish, up to 3.2 lbs.  We caught about a third of our fish on chatterbaits, a third on TR worms, and another third on wacky worms.  Most of the small fish were caught on the edge of the grass, and most of the large fish were caught out in the middle of the pond.  All in all a good morning, but by far that was the highest percentage of culls I’ve ever caught at Twin Oaks.  And usually the numbers are up by about 50%.  Chalk it up to fishing in the summer dog days I guess.
