Nice August weather on a pretty East Texas lake produced few fish but one that made it a succcessful morning. Caught the 9 pound, 12 ounce big mouth on a sexy shad, lipless crank bait in about 5 feet of water between the launch and the house about 10 feet from the bank. I’m 84 years old, caught a lot of bass but he made my top five! Thanks for the memories.
