This is the first time I've seen top water for largemouth bass in a small lake like this. The last time I saw something like this was in Lake Whitney when stripers pushed bait balls to the surface. There was a good hour of this activity when bass were jumping after shad on the surface. I caught the majority of the fish during this hour working a fluke. Let me tell you, all of these fish were well-fed. Even the smaller ones were solid and put up a good fight. I will definitely be returning to this lake.
