Although the day started slow, the fish eventually cooperated.  My buddy caugh five fish and I caught two.   The sucessful lures included the Whopper Plopper, top water frog, and weightless fluke.   There is a good bit of grass growth around the perimeter of the lake but that is typical this time of year for most ponds.   We had a good time and enjoyed our first outing as a new member of Private Water Fishing.
