Total Fish/Sizes : 5 ranging between 2 to 4 pounds and 1 Monster (8 pounds plus easy)
Lures Used : Whacky, Texas rig worms, Chatter, Square Bill, Ratters, Spinners, and Frogs.

The weather was perfect in the mid-80s.  The water was stained with water temps about 83 degrees.  I tried top water in the shallows, and then worms and creature baits in the middle of the lake where it was the deepest.  The best results I had was by the dam using spinners and square bills.  The hog I caught would probably have been my PB, but I forgot my scale, so I can’t say how much it weighted.  Overall a great afternoon at Tara Lake.
