Got on the water with my daughter about 4:45 and fish were aggressively biting (wasn’t expecting that and wished I had gotten out there a little earlier).  Best turned out to be crank bait where the trees start to the right of the boat launch (as you are looking out on the lake) throwing towards the shore trying to keep out of the moss.  Also, had bites on junebug senko and spinner bait.  Solid hits from 5:00-6:30 then everything calmed down.  This is my first of 3-4 trips to Malouf where we did not get anything on top waters.  Highlight of the trip was having two bass hit a crank bait at the same time.  About 12 LMB in all – nothing over 2.5 lbs but a great fishing run in only 3 hours.
