We arrived on Friday morning and lodged that night and fished again Saturday. It was hot with clear to partly cloudy skies. 

We threw everything we had at them and only bait that we could generate bites was flukes. 

We culled 8 bass under 16” and only managed 1 over 16” this trip that was 20” and 5lbs on the Bubba scale. We know how tough this property can be but also how rewarding a day at Hat and Star can be.
