There were 3 of us in kayaks.  Technically 2.5 of us.  My son is a rookie and easily distracted.  We threw a frog, Hula Popper, flukes, worms, spinners, chatter baits, swim jig, crank bait and rattle trap.  Stephen got one small bite.  Our guess is the pond was reduced to a pubble after last year’s drought and whatever fish are in there are small and few.  We could even see mesquite bushes popping out in the middle.  I think this pond needs time to revamp as long as the water level stays healthy.
