My son and I fished from 7 until about 10:45 on June 22nd. Hot and low winds. Total LMB 15, 5 culled and the others ranged from 2-4.5 lbs and fought fiercely as these fish always do. We caught them on Senkos, an old style Zoom craw and a couple on a spinner bait. While most of these had the typical football shape I'm accustomed to on this lake, a few had concave bellies. I wondered if the slime moss interefered with the normal spring numbers being culled increasing pressure on the baitfish? Of note, the slime moss was not a big issue this trip which is great.
All in all it was another great day on this lake which remains one of my favorites.
