Air temp 80° - 100° partly cloudy with a breeze, hot but tolerable. 
 

Started fishing about 7, slow start at 11 we had caught 6 all less than 16”. We were a little stubborn with our approach in the morning. Throwing frogs and buzz baits, big plastics jigs, etc. Definitely a power approach that in hindsight probably wasn't wise. After 11 we used a bit more finesse and got on some fish.  Baits of the day were baby brush hogs dipped in garlic and pulled slowly through the grass and drop shot a roboworm. 
 

Fish were scattered and not very aggressive, we had to work for them. Caught about 40 2/1 were below slot. 
 

First time fishing this lake, nice ramp, lots of grass, I am a fan.
