My three-year-old son and I enjoyed getting out of town and on the water at Triple J.  No look on the fish front, other than a good view of some big dorsal fins in the grass area near the boat launch when we first pulled up.  We arrived at about 6:50 am and it was already 84 degrees; left about 9:30am and it was 93 degrees per my car. The wind was steady, so we tied off, drifted, and worked the trolling motor pretty hard at times.  No luck with any approach, but a fun place to take my son as he’s learning “boat etiquette” and had fun cruisng the lake watching the cows.  This seems like a great spot in cooler weather.
