This day started with electric issues, but that's just fishing, and I'm sure we have all had this happen before. The two-hour delay was a bummer, but the bite seemed to be entirely off once I got everything dialed in. I couldn't get a bite to save my life until things turned around as soon as the sun came out at 2 pm. After that, they were biting aggressively in 20ft of water suspended on trees above the thermocline. I lost four giant bass due to a dull hook, but that quickly changed once I exchanged hooks. I used a Hover rig to catch the giants and a crankbait when I just wanted a bite. This lake is full of giant bass and a abundance of bait. It's an incredible lake and extremely healthy fish.
