Expected a very moss presentation given the summer heat ..was extremely surprised. The damn area was very fishable. The upper area had heavier moss spots, but for the most part, very fishable.

With the son and daughter in tow  the boat was full and the catches were steady enough to keep everybody interested and a fantastic time. Lost several three pounders put seven in and all fun steady fishing from 9 until 11:30 AM until the son hooked his thumb on a Texas rig worm, which ended the trip

Caught several on worms right by the bank boat launch area, and then in deeper water once in the main part of the lake, not as much near the bank but in about 8 to 10 feet of water. Bite was on everything from worms to crank bait to chatter bait. Everything seemed to get a bite, but they were difficult to get in to the boat.

Water 84° clear and once again per the title, the moss was not extremely heavy especially by the damn area the upper part of the lake was heavier as can be expected as it's not as deep. Was an overcast day in the mid 80s and light breeze maximum 8 to 10 mph.
