 Got to the lake at 6AM. From 6:15 to 9:30, the Frog was in high demand. Caught 26 during that time, I lost 3. As you can see from the pictures, they were hitting it hard.  The water was a couple of inches above the grass, and they could not get enough of the top water frog. I love top water hits and today was the day! I had 3 other Rods with me, ready with other lures but did not throw any of them until I made a full trip around the lake with the Frog. I took the TX Rig and went to the PVC pipes and big log in the middle and caught 4-5 at each structure location. To be honest I was getting tired, the wind was blowing 10-15 mph, the two-man boat was starting to get pushed around. I went back to the north end of the lake and started to use the Whopper Popper and it became another top water hit show.  Most of the Whopper Popper hits came along the North and east side . All the fish were 1.5-3.5 LBS and very healthy.  You dream of day like today, where the top water hits are abundant. This is the first time where I did not catch anything under the slot. Can’t wait to see some of these 3lb fish grow up.
