We had a great morning at Post Oak, starting with some frog action near the boat dock.  Always fun to start out that way.  Took us a while to find a pattern after that, but once we did it was quite a day.  We caught some fish on plastics and topwater, and tried several different baits.  But most of the fish, and all of the big fish (3 & 4 pounders) were on white chatterbaits with a motor oil trailer.  Caught them all  over the lake on the white chatterbaits, but especially in the two areas highlighted in the picture.  It was an overcast day, highs in the 80’s, 10-15 mph winds.  The lake is in great shape.  The vegetation is just right and the water level is full.  All the fish we caught, total of 45, were healthy.  Only 11 culls, and 4 over 3 lbs, 2 over 4 lbs.  It was a great day on a great property.
