Fished the morning of May 8 at Twin Oaks.  Weather was perfect – cloudy, winds about 10 mph, and temps in the 70’s.  Started out trying topwaters and spinnerbaits, but unfortunately no takers.  Finally started catching fish with TR worms, along with wacky worms, lizards, and swim baits, and never tried anything else.  Most of the 31 fish were caught in the middle third of the lake, looking at the lake from the launch.  And most of those fish, including the largest up to almost 4 lbs, were caught in the middle of the lake.  The lake was up a little from the rain, but less than a foot higher from the last time I fished there.  All the fish were fat, healthy fighters.  Most of the dinks were caught up by the dam.  This is one of the first times I’ve done most of my fishing out in the middle of a lake, but it sure produced on this trip.
