First time out in quite some time so was knocking off the rust and teaching my wife who hasn’t fished much.  Started at the dock and shoreline around the cabin as the sun was coming up.  Caught 3 dinks on Jitter Bug and TX rig plastic worm in the first few hours of the day.  Got the boat out after sun was up and fished to the east side of the pond.  The wind picked up some but the east side of pond was well protected.  Stopped fishing around noon and got back at it from 4-7pm.  Weather conditions were ideal, the fish just weren’t biting.  The pond is in great shape.  Water visibility was about 2 ft.  Threw everthing we could think to throw, they just weren’t interested.  The cabin is great for overnight stay.  We’ll definitely be back.
