Lures Used : hollow body frog, spinner bait, drop shot fluke. texas rigged creature baits.

Am trip. water temp at 72. Water level was max pool with water flowing over spillway. The fog this morning was thick. Fish started hitting everything I was throwing from the start. Lots of large redbreast sunfish and crappie in this location. Tons of small bass as well. Had to go to a larger profile bait to get a solid fish. Skies cleared up by 10:30 and the bite did not slow down. Big fish came at 11 am on a top water frog on the dam side. Some of the culled bass and crappie still had egg sacks (pre spawn). Great location if you want to get a youngster or newbie into plenty of action. Next time I will definetly being staying in the lodge, absolutly stunning and well kept location. Easy launch and great dock.
