Fished Hickory Creek on 4/24, morning only.  Slight wind in the morning but turning gusty by the time I left at noon.  Visibility about 1 foot but more weeds in the water than I normally see here.   Caught around 15 bass from 1 lb with 2 just over four pounds (see pic).  Two crappie, but didn't fish for those.   Most caught on soft, plastic shad rigs and some worms.   Nothing on top water or rattle traps.   Couple on beetle spins, but they were smaller fish.   Fish were caught all over lake with no one area seeming to have more fish.   As I was leaving, fished the smaller lake under the bridge and caught 3 bass but lost what may have been the biggest of the day based on the pull and fight (nerver saw her).   Did not go to the back lake as last time it was pretty covered in moss.
