Wow, what a beautiful lake and an amazing drive through the ranch to get there. The drive took about 25 minutes pulling a 18’ aluminum boat and we had no problems launching it off the bank. The water is gin clear, you can see the bottom in most of the lake. The fish were in the creek and there was evidence of some spawning beds and fish that are pre spawn.

The best fishing was along the northwest bank. The fish were holding along the weed line and casting a flie to the edge and stripping it back to the boat resulted in some pretty aggressive hits.

We finished with 10 culls and several fish in the 2 lbs range. 3 pounds was the biggest with a bigger fish lost boat side.

The grass extends about 2-4 feet from the bank. It's not super thick, so it should be doable.
