This is a beautiful little lake. Very secluded and lots of area to cover in a kayak. Very little if/any structure, mainly vegetation on the edges. Blue gill are kind of a nuisance, Got visited by a herd of curious donkeys, lots of Hereford cattle. Great setting. Kayak access was very easy. You can back down to a safe launch point. I used a larger worm (8”) which really worked for the bigger bass. Caught 4 near the dam, 1 on a chatter bait, 3 on the worm, Really nice healthy fish (2-4 lbs). Will definitely come back.
