Fished with a friend on Friday and it was one of the best days in a long time.  We caught 34 fish over 6 hours using flukes, under spins, chatterbait, and swimbait.  The fluke in baby bass color was the best bait of the day.  Water temp was 60 degrees and we found the fish all over the lake in 4-7 feet of water.  There was no action on the bank so we focused on the trees along the dam and the grass lines.  Every fish caught was more than healthy and some hard fighting fish for sure. We had a double on with 2 big fish and my partner lost his at the boat.  Ended the day with losing a big fish on the edge of the grass line that I’m still trying to get over. We would’ve fished all day but even in a 17’ bass boat we were starting to drain the batteries by about 2:30.  The wind really picked up late morning and it was a battle to stay in position.  We had several places that we could have picked apart but couldn’t stay on top of them due to the wind.  Have a new boat on the way with spotlock trolling motor and can’t wait to use it on this lake.

Our next trip out there can’t come soon enough.
