Lures Used : Whopper plopper, shallow running cranks, flashy swimmer, green pumpkin and june bug adrenaline craws on light Texas rig and Ozark rig

On the water at 7:30am. Not much topwater bite or activity. Starting catching good sized fish when we went to the craws and shallow running cranks. Bite ran out around 11am and started up again around 4pm. We accidently discovered a good pattern with swimming a craw in 3-8 feet of water on an Ozark rig, just lucked out with swimming one to keep it out of the bottom slime. Not sure if it is always there but the bottom is thick in that filamentous algae slime in all areas of 6 feet and less, could not really use bottom techniques in these areas, unless weightless and such. Did not see much shad activity but did get a lot of brim and bluegill bites. In closing, loved this lake: very clean, quiet, and loaded with quality bass.
