I had not been out in my kayak for some time due to a damaged rubber from a car hitting my trailer when I was returning from Tarpley several months ago. it is repaired and fully functional. Got a later start than expected (9AM) so I did not really try much with top water. The property is fuller than I have seen for a long while and in fact I couldn't find the two rock/concrete piles on the south side (I hope they are still there). Lily pads are back on the east side and definitely still a fishable area. I caught most on the crank bait, fished actively, but they also hit the wacky worm hard. I tried multiple other lures without success.
