it was the first day of bluebird skies. Warm, really perfect day to be on the water. But fish stayed shallow up under the snot grass until the last 30 minutes. Only thing I could get bit on was wacky or weightless sinko. They just would not chase moving bait until late. Still a beautiful day and did catch 14 with a bunch of 3lbers. I did get bit 2x on the whopper plopper at the end  !st blow up was a decent fish but came off. 2^nd one I landed but was only 2lbs. I love this lake but the snot grass gets old over the day. Only caught one on a paddletail late, but man, normally I can catch 10 on a paddletail during the trip. No pics as I don’t do pics unless it’s 5+.
