Got to the lake and launched the club boat at about 9:30.  Had an overcast sky and fairly light but variable wind all day.  Started with the 7” fluke casting to the grassey bank and caught 3 nice bass right away.  Wish I had gotten there earlier.  Stayed with the fluke and caught a few more untill about 11:30 or so when it slowed down. Tried the Wacky Wiorm and TX Rigg  in the trees with no luck.  It stayed slow until about 3:30 and it came alive until about 5:00.  Left the lake about 6:00.  No big fish, but even the small ones were healthy fighters and fun to catch.  I’m sure a better fisherman would have caught more, but I had a great day on a beautiful lake.  Can’t wait to go back.
