The daughter asked me to go fishing, so I booked Sandy Creek at the last minute. She was excited, because I told her she might get her PB on this trip. I told her to make sure she lighten the drag for this property, because the fish will snap her line. Well we didn’t run into anything over 5#, but she did have a few snap her line. She was involved from start to finish which was from 1-630 pm and enjoyed every minute of it. She definitely learned to use the Trig creature bait on this trip, because she didn’t change bait all afternoon. We only had a few of those baits left, so I let her have them. She even modified the baits even after the bass tore them up, haha. I believe she ended catching 15 and lost 10 to either fish coming off or breaking her line. Water temps were 63-65 and clarity was 1.5’ or less. It was windy and gusty, but we made the best of the afternoon. The fish were biting in 2-5' of water. My daughter now has a new favorite pond.
