Outstanding day at Cassidy today. Air temp at sunrise was low 50's with wind steady to 15. Water heavily stained, visibility to around 15" and temp of 59 up to 62 at days end. Lake level appears near 3/4 to capacity. The grass has taken hold and was somewhat challenging but manageable. Tried topwater early but too windy. Rigged up watermelon seed trick worms and pumpkinseed lizards and used these all day and caught 47 beautiful fat hard fighting hogs. Most fish caught were near bank and right outside the grass line. Never a dull moment @ Cassidy! Sincere thanks to the landowner and PWF.
