Arrived at 9:00 a.m., later than usual due to the cold temps.  Morning started out at 32 F and as it began to warm, wind blew from South at 15 to 20 mph with some stronger gusts.  Fishing slow in the morning but improved as the temps rose through out the day.  Most fish caught around timber abouit 10 yds from the bank.  Would catch a few in certain locations but hard to control the kayaks in any one place due to the wind.  Fished some from the bank to take a break from the kayaks and the wind.

Most fish caught on yellow or orange spinnerbaits with some caught by slow fisning plastic worms.  Bigger fish caught during mid day.

Fished all day, rolling up about 6:00 p.m.  We were happy to be able to catch some quality fish under tough weather conditions.  There is a new jonboat on site and the launch location has been regraveled since last year.  Waiting to come back to fish the lake again when the weather finally stays warmer.  Beautiful lake on a beautiful ranch.
