The day was perfect! Great weather and non-stop action. The small buck bass were in nest-building mode, with some beds starting to form. They were holding close to the bank. These bass were aggressive and hungry. Even though we did catch plenty of nice 2-5 pounders, we never quite found the really big girls. It did appear some girls were getting an egg belly. Please don’t go to Timber Lake; it is my favorite!
