Got the boat (which leaks) launched around 1:30 and headed toward the duck blind area directly across from the old dock. Immediately caught a bass and after that it felt like it was “fish on” pretty much until we left. We caught 14 bass and 5 crappie. My 9 year old son brought in 8 of those which made it even better. All fish were caught on a red, blue, or gold hardknocker and we caught fish all over the lake. Most bass were right at 1.5lbs with the biggest being 1.8lb.

Great lake that’s chalked full of fish. However, the boat needs some attention. The leak isn’t so small and I was using a cup to take the water out about every 45 minutes. Also, the wood on the transom is rotted out which makes mounting the trolling motor a challenge.
