Saturday 3/2/24, 11a-6p, First time at Frannies.  Red Bud trees blooming and tree leaves just peeking out. AT 70-80 blue-bird skies, strong south winds.  WT 58 at south end near dam, up near 65 at far north end. Stained water color, lake full. We could only find bass on east shore north of boat ramp hugging laydowns (out of the wind). Boated 5 and had a few more that bit n spit.  We thought we could find a few staging to spawn up in the shallow north end, but couldn't get a bite. The 2 cold days we had earlier in the week probably stalled them. The high pressure and wind made it tough.

Found some crappie with Livescope roaming down near the dam in 12-20’ of water, but only fish that would bite were way up high in water column. Just a few feet below the surface. Many were paired up. Got 12 for tacos.

Beautiful property with nice boat ramp and dock. We will be back soon to try it again.
