I fished Lago Escondido on 3/2.  The fish were hungry and ready to fight!

I fished from 8:30-5:30 and caught a bunch of fish mostly in the 14”-18” range.  

on previous trips to this lake I have caught very few harvest fish relative to larger fish, but that was not the case this time.  I was throwing “big boy” baits but kept getting 14 and 15 inch bass.

the visibility was measured in feet and there was a light breeze most of the day.  Water was warm.

I had never seen a school of grass carp before but with the clear water I could see a pack of about 20 swimming around throughput the day.
