Fellow member Jim Collins and I  arrived at Rock Chimney about 9 am and left around 3 pm.  Cloudy, windy and temperatures in the low 50’s made for a chilly day of fishing.  We banked fished only and caught a total of 10 bass, generally ranging between 2 and 3 pounds.  The bite was very light and somewhat slow but lasted the entire day.  Catches were spread throughout the day and around the walkable areas of the lake.  Most fish were caught near the shoreline generally about 3 to 5 feet from the bank.  Red plastic worms worked throughout the day.  The lake was full and the water was clear.  Jim had a nice chat with the owner in the morning.  In the afternoon, we were greated by a very friendly black Lab who stayed with us all afternoon.

Although we were cold all day, we still had a great time!
