Fished from 9:00 am to 4:30.  Lake was full.  Water was 62 deg rising to 67 and clear to 6 feet.  Caught 8 bass:  (1) 7-8 lb. class fish (did not weigh her), (1) 5-6 lb., and the rest 2-3 lb.   All were fat and healthy, and caught on chatterbaits and Magnum Flukes.  Most strikes were on a medium to slow roll, barely ticking the top of the submerged coontail. 

I was able to get back into the “hidden” lake or whatever we’re calling it – there was a 2-3 ft. channel all the way to the back. I saw numerous bass roaming but no strikes, even with a finesse presentation.  They looked like males scouting for bedding areas.   At full pool you can get back there with a kayak, but doubt it’s possible with anything wider.
