Ralph Deleonardis and I arrived with cloudy skies and temps in the 60’s with a mild wind.  Lake is in great shape with firm soil at the launching site, water at normal level and very few weeks.  Water was clear down a couple of feet.  We caught 7 in the 2 to 3 pound range that we released back to the lake. Also culled another 7 with half of these almost at the 14” limit. We caught most of the fish on a dark colored salamander but as the sun came out a pink worm started getting bites. Didn’t have much luck with topwater baits.
