This ws my time to visit Azalea Ranch and will difinetly go back  Had a full day reservation and fished from 8-3 when I just got tired fighting the wind anymore. Last 2 hour lake was almost to white caps and a mudline formed along bank from wave action.  Going by overflow tube, I would guess the lake is down 2-3 feet from the top. Water was clear, 2-3 feet, with temp at 55 when started and only warming to 56 on with a clody sky.

Wind aside it was a pretty good day and much as past reports.  I culled 10 fish and returned 2 at about 16 inches.  Having to fight the wind and trolling motor I probably lost another 10 before could get in the boat. 7 of the 10 cleaned were females and looked very close to be ready to spawn.

Overall reminds me of my first trips to Laneville and Kickapoo 11-12 years ago.  I am sure Azalea will grow up just as those two lake have.
