Air temp 47, water visibility 12”, overcast and windy. No bites until afternoon. Used club boat with no electronics. All caught on chatterbait (was not expecting that), despite trying all the winter-time usual suspects first: big swimbaits, crankbaits, suspending jerkbaits, TRig, jigs, dropshot. All fish were above slot and thick. Two biggest 4.3 and 4.5 lbs. Will be back in the Spring!
