Made a last-minute reservation for my first visit here on Sunday. My guest & I fished from 9:30 to 5:30.
Water temp: 55
Water clear at 5-7 feet.
Air temp: 45 to 54
Wind: 10-15 mph
I didn’t let the 2.8 “slow” BFR bass forecast rating stop us. Caught 8 with 4 culls. Biggest was 3.4 lbs caught on a chartreuse and white spinner bait. Most caught around the edges of grass lines. Nothing on crank baits, chatter baits or top waters.
Roomy pontoon boat made for an enjoyable day on the water. Hope to fish here again soon.

Be sure to fish this place in late Feb. – early March! Me and my son caught 20-25 on shallow points and creek next to launch during the spawn….all were healthy 2-4 lbs. We saw some monsters on their beds but they were not interest in what we had to offer at the time.
