Got on the water a little after 8, approx 40 degrees and water temp was 57.  I caught 24 for the day with four in the 4lbs range (largest was 4.24) and a handful of super chunky 3 pounders as well. Morning started off fast and caught 9 before 10 o’clock, then things stalled out for a couple hours, but eventually picked back up around 2pm.   Most of the fish were caught in 29 to 32 feet and only caught one around the weedline. All were super healthy with thick bellies. I saw a couple blow ups and most of the bait balls were at or near the bottom. Once I marked a school I would slow work the Ned, football jig or shaky head and usually pick up a couple bass at each spot.  I was able to capture a couple pics of some of the larger bait balls. Got to catch up with Joe near the end of the day and always great to see him on-site.
