Arrived at noon lake is still several feet low. Water temp was 58 with about a foot of clarity and no vegatation. I had my sights set on the bass and crappie but struck out. Only caught three dinks tried a bit of everything but the only bites came from a junebug lizard. Since my first two choices of species were not biting i went with the third option. I parked the boat at the dock and rigged up for the cats. Within in fives minutes i had my first one on punch bait these were all around the two pound range with one that went a little over five landed ten total. Unfortunately a fish drug myrod and reel  into the water and i lost it. If anyone comes up with Diawa baitcaster with an Allstar rod please give me a holler.
