The property is amazing and the lodging is extremely well kept and comfortable. The owners are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable visit. The lake itself is plenty full though it was mentioned that compared to capacity is quite low. I wouldn't have noticed had it not been mentioned. It doesn't seem to affect the fishing at all, which was good throughout the day even in the heat. No weeds to contend with here.

The entire west bank was excellent for bass from the cabin south to just past the exposed trees. Topwater was great in the morning. Switched to neds senkos and jigs by mid morning and the bite continued. Natural colors seemed best. Swimbaits seemed to be the only lure they wouldn't bite. Submerged trees halfway down from the dock were always productive. Biggest LMB went to 18in. The average size seems to be right around the cull size of 12in so make sure to harvest.

By noon the heat was getting to be too much, so went back to the dock area and tossed jigs around the weeds and pilings. Hooked into a 27in catfish that was a blast to fight for about 10 minutes. It probably went about 8lbs based on a typical sizing chart for channels. Caught and released. One massive bluegill bit right after chasing from underneath the dock.

Ton of fun to be had at this property. Enjoy and please take care of the grounds for the next member. Looking forward to returning soon.
