We had the pleasure of fishing Pecan Gap on 10/14.  The water level is 2-3 feet down but we were able to locate some quality bass(3-5# range) primarily by the humps and timber.  We had a decent North wind come in which tested our fishing capabilities but we were able to bring in 8 in all between two fisherman(4 a piece).  Two of our guys came down with the bug the day before and of the trip so it was just my guest and I.   The boat is in good condition and we had a blast.  the water clarity is at about 18 inches or so, just a bit stained.

We also had the pleasure of speaking with Craig the landowner, and he is a delight.  We had a great time!  Looking forward to our next trip possibly in The Spring.
