First time at Deer Trail Ranch and it was well worth the drive. Concrete boat ramp was in great condition easy to get boat in and out of lake. Morning Started with over cast skys so topwater was our starting point. each catching a few in the first hour. After that we tried what previos reports had stated of fishing wack rig senkos at the grass line and it was GAME ON!. Fished from 7:00 AM – NOON and boated 40 fish. Nothing of great size biggest probably around 3.5 but very healthy fish and a great time.
