My daughter and I fished Little A between 130-7 pm and ended up catching 33 bass and 2 yellow catfish considering the windy afternoon and 100 degree heat. The water level looked down about 3-4'. It was a lot breezy but we used the winds to our advantage to drift and catch fish. She figured them out after a slow start but her catch to miss ratio was a little off lol. Got to hone her hook setting skill. I lost a possible 6# at the boat. Her best bass was almost 4#. She caught the 2 catfish so she is considered the catfish king based on our last 2 PWF trips haha. Initially, she was curious if the pond has catfish. Now we know! The quality of the bass was far from Double-A. Give them some time to grow to Double-A's potential. Most of the fish caught were off the grassline edge and drop-off. A few were caught in 15-20' suspended and dragging on the grassy bottom. Offshore fishing was little to none. Didn't really see any structures along the bottom but I didn’t spend alot of time scanning. Deepest water was 30' and temps were 83-85 degrees. Dark colors worked as well as shad colors. My daughter wants to come back. Thank you owner and PWF!
