We got on the water this morning at around 7 am and started on the smaller pond for the first time. My guest snagged a monster in the small pond but got off as he was trying to get it in the boat right as he was lipping her. We caught 5 more around 1lb to 2lbs before we moved to the big lake. On the big lake the bite was top water around the banks and we had a blast. We caught 15 on top water and you cannot beat a frog bite. Nothing of size in the big lake was caught. They all ranged between 1.75lbs and 3lbs. The grass is gone on this lake which took over a couple months back, so get back to Harrison Ranch and give it a try.
