Lures Used : Buzz bait, spinnerbaits, frog, senko

On the water by 7. Large buzz bait was getting most of the action all morning. Switched to large spinnerbaits after it warmed up. Ripping the 1/2oz spinnerbait through deep grass was firing up reaction strikes. Great time on a great location

How was the grass? Last time I was there around April/May it was starting to take over pretty good.

The hydrilla was pretty thick all over. The top of the grass was around 2 feet below the surface. The only opening was the creek channel and beaver paths.

That is an outstanding morning, congrats!  Glad to hear the fish are in good shape, only two unders out of 50 is really good.
