Nothing big this trip but they fought like they were. Very strong fighters on the Cody Ranch.

weather was wonderful. High 86-88, didn't rain though but heard thunder in distance, checked radar and it was going around me

Morning:

only 3 fish, one decent

Afternoon:

after lunch I changed tactics, good decision. Color not important seemed. Straight from the ramp is an island of green. Caught 60% fish there. When they got tired of  wacky I tossed a Ned then the Carolina. Some came from the trees at times. There is another hump with pond weed by some fallen trees east of the deep water tree. Got a few more fish off that. ALL fish came 4-6’ and with deeper water nearby. 
Lake is about 2 years behind Moonshine/ 1 year behind China. Folk these are great fisheries.
