Got to the lake around 2:30 fished all the brush piles with no success. The water was very warm which I think made the bass lethargic. There was no wind and the temps were in the mid 90’s. A storm was approaching which made us very humid as welll. We tried everything and finally managed to hook up with a couple of bass at one of the brush piles close to the dam on a Texas rig lizard. Even though the fishing was tough I still had a great afternoon with my son on a beautiful lake.
