Fished Saturday morning with my dad. Luckily it was overcast, so the heat didn't set in until we were done around 11:30. The fish were there but we struggled to find a consistent pattern. Boated 4 and lost several because I am terrible at setting the hook on frogs. Texas rig and frogs produced.

Look into the Ribbit Frog with a 2/0 offset (worm) hook. That has helped my frog stickin' in the fish’s face ratio tremendously. I like the yellow belly/ dark green top.
